When we know, who walks beside us, on this path we have chosen, our fears fall from us.

We All Worship Something

Everyone worships something, many tragically spending their lives worshiping the “stuff” of this world: money, power, property, prestige, fame, sports teams; the list of stuff or secular "gods" if you will endless. Now to be clear, “stuff” of the world is not an inherent problem, unless we place our whole focus on it, seeking personal validation and losing sight of the truth that all “stuff” is passing, none of it of any real value Spiritually.

Victory over the fear driven life does not come from worship of temporary, passing things but from living an examined life, coming to worship, in our own unique way, that which transcends the secular, that which is the true basis of all Creation. By building a personal relationship with a Power Greater than Ourselves we have come to experience true source and our difficulties, problems and cares melt away to the extent that we step out in faith and trust. By truly putting our trust in the Miraculous instead of outer conditions, the following equation becomes operative: our level of serenity rises in direct proportion to the expectation that Divine Love will provide. The opposite being true as well: the level of our serenity lowers in direct proportion to the expectation that the things comprising the physical world will provide the peace we seek. “God is everything, or else He is nothing. What was our choice to be?” For unlike man and all our secular pursuits and possessions, the Miraculous stands outside time, is all things and all knowledge, but most importantly is Love incarnate, longing to provide for us if we will but worship Divine Love over our “stuff.”
