Most go through life on self-will and self-propulsion until some hardship
befalls. Then, being nominal believers, they turn to prayer in desperation and
fear, seeking immediate relief, on their terms of course. To be clear: God will
always help so never hesitate to pray, for such is the nature of Grace, but if
we are loved by God, supposedly a love greater than we have for our own
children, and being omnipotent why does God seemingly not answer our prayers instantaneously?
I have heard it said that God sometimes answers a prayer with “no” which is not
possible for God always answers in the affirmative, but if what we are praying
about will cause unforeseen negative consequences, of course it will not, can
not be answered in the way outlined.
The Miraculous will never or even can
give prosperity to one if it brings poverty to another, peace to one while
causing turmoil to others or suffering in any manner for God and Good are
synonymous. To do so would break cosmic law, and since He is the author of the
law, He never breaks it. All prayers are answered in the positive, but since we
often pray with a predetermined, hoped for outcome, with certain expectations
(outlining) based in self (fear), we are unable to see God’s hand at work and
begin to feel our prayers are unheard or worse ignored.
Once again: All prayers are answered in the positive. God is always present,
always available, the question is are we present for Him, available and willing, ready to step out in faith,
trusting in His Love and Grace for our future well-being and serenity and though
often trembling following the path and direction in Spirit laid out before us? When
we do we leave the fear driven life behind.
