Without renewing energy stagnation
results and there is probably no better demonstration of this than a tidal
pool. The renewing energy of the waves keeps the pool fresh and alive. If we
think of our consciousness as a tidal pool, our renewing waves are comprised of
willingness, open mindedness, and service; trusting in the Miraculous to refresh
us with forgiveness, love, and guidance, while in turn washing away any
stagnant, negative or fear laced thoughts.
A closed mind is like the tidal pool which has been blocked off from the renewing energy of the sea. And just as the tidal pool, when this happens our thoughts begin to turn brackish, becoming unhealthy, energy and life draining away. Eventually, if nothing fresh flows in, all life and positive energy will evaporate, leaving only fear, diseased thinking, and discontentment. Self-centered fear, the one true adversary, works to convince us that in times of trouble the waves of renewal will not return; closing our mind to the truth of being, and faith begins to be replaced with despair. But just as the oceans level rises and falls, leaving a pool seemingly without supply for a time, so does our awareness of our connection with Source. By standing in the light through the demonstration of consistent prayer, service, and meditation; faith in demonstration, we know the tide will rise and the waves of renewing energy will return, by remaining willing and open minded the renewing energy of Divine Intelligence keeps us fresh and alive, ready to demonstrate the power of Creation in every area of our life if we will but let it.
