THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

We have all at least heard of them, bet you can’t recite them any more than you can the seven dwarfs or supreme court justices. For me the vision of Charlton Heston in flowing robes with long white hair and beard coming down Mount Sinai with two stone tablets in his arms will always pop to the forefront of my mind when I think of them. In a practical way though, how can something that dates to the pharaohs have a sensible application in my life today? Certainly in the last 3500 years we have progressed beyond these simple rules of conduct, haven’t we?
